Acceptable use policy

This policy sets out how Rapport Software LLC ("we", "us") expects our software and services to be used. It applies to our business customers and to anyone who uses the software through them.

1. Lawful use only

Use our software in compliance with all laws that apply to you, your customers and your messages. Do not use it to create, send or store illegal content, or to carry out or support unlawful activity, including fraud, phishing or scams.

2. Minors

Do not use our software to create, send, request or process content that involves minors, or that depicts or portrays anyone who is or appears to be under 18. Do not use it to communicate with people you know, or have reason to believe, are under 18 on any platform or service that requires its users to be adults.

3. Non-consensual content

Do not use our software to create, send or distribute content involving a person without their consent, including intimate content shared without the consent of the person shown. Do not use it to pressure, coerce or harass anyone.

4. Impersonation

Do not use our software to impersonate a real person without that person's consent, or to mislead anyone about who they are communicating with in a way that is unlawful or that a platform's rules prohibit. Where a platform's rules require automated or AI-generated messages to be disclosed, follow them.

5. Spam and abuse

Do not use our software to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, evade rate limits or anti-abuse controls, scrape or harvest data in breach of a platform's or service's rules, or harass or threaten anyone.

6. Third-party platform terms

You are responsible for using our software within the terms, community guidelines and policies of every platform or service you use it with. Do not use our software in a way that violates them. We are independent of those platforms and are not affiliated with or approved by any of them.

7. Security and misuse

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another customer's data, interfere with or disrupt the software, introduce malicious code, or resell or sublicense the software except as your agreement with us allows.

8. Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate, remove content, restrict or suspend access, or terminate an account, with or without notice depending on severity. Where required by law, or where it appears a crime may have been committed, we may report matters to the authorities.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
